Collegium Musicum LusItalia
As part of the cultural programme La Musica nel Calice, on Friday 31 July 2026 at 9.00 pm, at the Vini Colombo winery – Cà Sabbionare (VR), a concert will be held dedicated to one of the most famous masterpieces of Baroque music: Le quattro stagioni di Antonio Vivaldi.
The Collegium Musicum LusItalia, under the direction of violinist and conductor Riccardo Manuel Vartolo, will perform the four violin concertos from the collection Il cimento dell’armonia e dell’inventione: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.
These works are an extraordinary example of programme music, in which the musical composition vividly evokes landscapes, atmospheres and the changing face of nature. The tonal colours and descriptive imagery blend perfectly with the natural setting of Lake Garda, offering the audience an immersive and engaging experience.
The Collegium Musicum LusItalia stands out for the diversity of its members’ artistic backgrounds, which range from early music played on period instruments to contemporary styles, with influences from jazz and pop. Its members have collaborated with internationally renowned artists and institutions, creating projects that integrate music with other forms of expression, in an ongoing dialogue between tradition and innovation.
